New semester, new series! We are excited to announce that the Kennedy Center lecture series theme for winter semester 2021 is “Race: Myths and Realities.” Lecture topics will include “Monumental Antiracism: Taking Stock of Reparative Memory Work,” “‘A Black Mother of a White Nation’: The Whitening Process in Argentina,” and “Chinese Workers and America’s First Transcontinental Railroad: A Global Perspective,” to name a few.
Students and faculty may view the lectures on campus at overflow.byu.edu or via Zoom from any other location. Check our calendar for more information on weekly lectures, and be sure to tune in every Wednesday at noon to see how you can continue to #unpackrace and #dothework.
